A Sticker Students Can Use with Confidence Every Day on Their Commute
SHINKOSHUPPANSHA KEIRINKAN Co., Ltd.'s "W-Start Drill," a home-study workbook series for elementary school students, includes an IC card privacy protection sticker as a promotional gift. The sticker is designed to conceal personal information displayed on the surface of commuter pass cards and is intended for everyday use.
For this type of application, the sticker must be removed whenever the commuter pass is renewed or recharged. While low-tack adhesive stickers have traditionally been used, ease of repeated use and user-friendly handling were key considerations in selecting the material. Because the product is intended for elementary school students, it was also important to provide a sticker that is easy to apply and remove while featuring an approachable and engaging design.
The material selected for this application was YUPO Octopus Outdoor, which can be repeatedly applied and removed without leaving adhesive residue. Its suction-based adhesion allows users to reposition and reapply the sticker whenever needed, making it particularly well suited for IC card privacy protection stickers. The product was highly valued for its convenience and ability to integrate seamlessly into everyday use.
